OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

Facility management (FM) encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology.

All the facilities management services are classifies into HARD & SOFT services.

Hard Services

Hard services relate to the physical part of the building and cannot be removed. They are ‘the essentials,’ and ensure the safety and welfare of employees. Hard services are generally required by law and include provisions such as: Heating & Ventilation, Lighting/Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety System, Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Building Automation, Civil Maintenance (Carpentry, Painting, etc...), Vibration Analysis, Water & waste Water Drainage System.

Soft Services

Soft services are directly used by the employees and can make the workplace more secure and pleasant. A few examples of soft services are: Building Security, Cleaning (Facades, Flooring), Aesthetics (Décor or Landscape, etc...), Mail Management, Catering, Office Moves, Waste Management, Pest Control.
